Poor quality and design. Wore the shoes twice and already starting to show quality issues. From a design perspective, the “N” hangs off the side of the shoe. Patchwork design. Unable to return since they’ve been “worn”.

480s are great!
I was looking for a casual, flat sneaker to wear with jeans or shorts and I never owned a pair of New Balance, so I thought I’d give the 480s a try. I was pleasantly surprised! They are very wide in the toe box, even a little bigger than I was expecting. They are a little stiff to start, so a few wears might be needed for the break-in period, but other than that I’m very happy with my purchase!
