Perfect toe box and cushion
I have a narrow heel with a wide front. Once again asics is perfect. Plenty of room horizontally and vertically in the toe box with standard sizing everywhere else. I love the quality of this brand too.

So Disappointed!
I have been an Asics Gel-Kayano fan for years now and have purchased a pair every year and loved them. I purchased this new pair thinking that they were designed the same way as previous years but to my surprise found out they aren't. The side of the shoes come up too high now and hits my ankles and rubs against them when I walk and creates a red sore. I am definitely not a fan of these shoes anymore. I don't understand why the designers decided to make this drastic change. Please go back to the original way you made the shoes so everyone can wear them. I do not recommend buying these shoes because they aren't what they used to be.

Rubbed against my heel
I wanted to love these, I have the earlier version (28) and wore out the tred. I wore these once and they tore up my heels and are so much wider that my toes went numb while walking - odd. I’m going back to last years version.

Wore Them Once Before Returning
I have a pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus 21 that I have worn for several years, and I love them, but they are wearing out so I bought what I thought was the same style of Asics. Unfortunately the top around the ankles of these shoes is so high
that it comes up to my ankle bones where it rubbed and left a sore. And because the top opening to the shoe was so high, they were almost impossible to put on even with a shoehorn! The footbed of the shoes was very comfortable.

the darker colors run a bit smaller
The sky champagne ones I have in a 7.5 and they fit perfect but the black ones I ordered fit too tight
