The Gamma MX is built as a softshell focused on breathability, mobility, and wind resistance, with a light insulating backer, but it won’t trap heat the same way a synthetic‑insulated piece does. Its DWR finish is designed to shed light moisture, but it isn’t intended to replace a waterproof GORE-TEX shell in sustained rain or heavier precipitation. Your feedback is important, and we appreciate you highlighting where the performance didn’t align with your needs.
