How to use: Hold The Fix+ Original Setting Spray bottle 12 inches away from face and spray evenly. Use alone or to finish makeup. For face products, apply your favorite powder foundation and lightly mist all over face to set and hydrate. For color products, apply your favorite eyeshadow or pigment to your preferred brush, lightly mist bristles and sweep across lids for an intensified shadow look. With eyes and mouth completely closed, press the Fix+ Stay Over Setting Spray pump firmly to evenly mist face while holding bottle 10–12 inches away from skin.

Much more than just a makeup setting spray!
This is much more than just a m/u fixer/setting spray. I was introduced to this at the MAC counter when looking for a concealer specifically for KP on my upper arms. The assistant used a kabuki brush to apply the Studio Finish Concealer and then sprayed Prep and prime Fix+ over it and it didn't shift for the entire day! As I was wearing a short sleeve black t-shirt my fear was the concealer would transfer to the inside/edges of the sleeves but it scarcely did. I now use it regularly after applying any body foundation or concealer. Secondly...it amplifies the pigment of any of my shimmery eyeshadows. I spritz the eyeshadow brush a couple of times and then dip into the eyeshadow and apply to my lids. You can get the same effect if you spritz straight after applying any shimmery shadow to your lids but I end up getting it in my eyes (don't ask!) so have stopped doing that. it's very lightweight, I can't tell it is on my skin, other than the fact that everything lasts longer, and it smells really fresh too. Most importantly this is one of those products that I feel confident in using liberally, as it's almost completely natural. With cucumber, chamomile and green tea thrown in, not only is it good for my skin but refreshing too, especially on a hot day. No for oily skin
I feel like everyone is getting paid for writing good reviews...this thing doesn't do anythinggggggg don't waste any money on it, it's just water

NOT A SETTING SPRAY, SUPER SHINY
So I bought this under the assumption it's a fixing/setting spray but instead of making my makeup last longer, it makes it run all down my face. I did some research and found it's not actually a fixing spray, despite beauty vloggers' use of it as such. Which leads me to ask, what IS it for? From my research, it's apparently a sort of dewy mist to keep your makeup from looking cakey. Since I use liquid foundation and concealer, I had no use for it, and it actually made me look super shiny, and more disturbing, made my eyeshadow, mascara, & eyeliner run. So even if I was using a cakey foundation (which, why?) I don't think it would work very well, bc even if it makes the foundation look more dewey, it also makes everything else dewey, and thus shiny and runny. Especially for the price, it seems to be just a fancily packaged moisture spray - like evian water mist w a bit of moisturizer. Thumbs down.

Wonderful Product if Used Correctly
This was the first MAC product I've ever purchased, I'm already wanting to buy like 2 more bottles of this. First of all, this is not a setting spray that will "set" your makeup. This is to be used as a primer, or a finishing mist that will leave your face more dewy and have a healthy, youthful glow. With all the steps to makeup, foundation, contouring, powder... etc, your face can look like a powdery, cakey, almost lifeless look. This mist will help give your final look more dewy, healthy, without looking all powdered up. Also this is great if you have dry patches! It's very refreshing, a nice cucumber smell from what I get from it. I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a dewy, healthy look! If you like the matte look, you may not want to get this.

Spits like a camel, finishes like a dream
I love this setting spray. The only thing that makes it less than perfect is that the nozzle will occasionally spit at you like a camel. But I love how the makeup all melts together and the finish is beautiful. So I deal with the spitting. But I wish they'd fix that.

This isn't the best product I have ever used. I sprayed some on my face prior to make up and it made my skin so sticky and oily and the foundation didn't spread on smoothly. This is best for using after make up and not before.
I will not repurchase this. The urban decay setting spray is so much better.
Also, I don't like the way this bottle sprays.
I expected so much more because this is a MAC product. I'm sort of disappointed.

Nice and dewy
This is the first finishing spray I've found that does what it says it does. Really sets makeup and leaves a nice dewy finish that last most of the day. Love it!!!
