I got these boots almost
I got these boots almost a year ago and have encountered no issues. There was a longer break in period and had to wear bandaids on my ankles for the first few wears, otherwise very comfortable and stylish.

Looks cheap
I wanted to love these boots, but I was really disappointed by the quality of the leather. I purchased these in the brown color, and whatever treatment was done for the color gave the leather a bit of a cheap look. When I put them on, they just didn’t have a polished look to them. I wouldn’t say they look like the quality I expect from Frye. Maybe the black ones look nicer. They’re also pretty clunky and awkward to walk in because they are very stiff and quite heavy as well. Unfortunately these are going back and my quest for the perfect combat boot continues!

LOVE but annoying to put on
These are awesome boots. True to size and comfortable. They are a little annoying to deal with laces and the buckle, but they’re worth it and I’m probably just lazy.

Great look, worth the pain to get on and off.
Just love the fit and style of these boots! I would rate 5 stars if they were not such a pain to get on and off. Laces have to be open pretty far down and the snaps are hard to get closed. But the look is worth it! I love them!
