Great boot!
I have been struggling to find a knee high black boot that was not too big around my calf, I bought these in regular calf and they are still slightly bigger than I would ideally like but a lot better than all the other styles I have tried. Overall a great fit and comfortable boot.

Disappointed
The boots appear to have been worn already . As the soles are scuffed and leather is wrinkled and please don’t tell me that is the hand craftsmanship . This is not my first pair of Frye boots . I am less than satisfied with my purchase but that is what happens when you buy on-line . Disappointed.

Beautiful but are they really extended calf?
Beautiful color and style! I bought the extended calf for the first time this year. I'm 5'3" and have athletic legs. I thought the extended calf would give me comfortable room to zip up but I was wrong! I could only get these up about 2/3 of the way! I'm really sad because everything else about this boot is perfect. I noticed the extended calf sizing sold out very early in the sale. Doesn't this show there's a demand for this sizing?

Love the Extra Wide Calf
I have always had big legs so I’m excited when there are boots that cater to my legs. I unfortunately had to return these as there just were not comfortable all around.

NOT wide calf!
The boots are gorgeous, well made, and classic. I bought the extended calf for my gymnast legs, and they are definitely NOT extended calf. They fit like regular calf boots. I wanted them to work so badly but I had to return because I couldn’t even zip them up.

Beautiful riding style boots
Love these! Frye makes such great boots! These aren’t my first pair-fine quality leather boots that look like fine quality; very comfortable with a short break in period; I measure a size 8 shoe size but with Frye boots 71/2 works best for my feet (small volume feet); regular size around the calf fits just right

Slightly disappointed
I wanted to replace my current Frye boots. I prefer boots without zippers but I ordered these anyway. These are beautiful, gorgeous leather, and the color and smell were great! Trouble is once I put them on they were tight around the ankles. The foot bed looks exactly the same as my old boots but due to the lack of extra leather around the ankles (I prefer more for a looser look) they looked too tight and unnatural. The cut is all wrong. I hope Frye comes out with zipper boots again. I also hope they bring back the extra leather around the ankles for a more relaxed look.
