These boots are fantastic. They
These boots are fantastic. They didn't need any time to break-in. They were immediately comfortable and the quality is top rate. I'm sure they'll last a very long time!

Love the look but ….
Fit is as expected TTS. The leather is okay. I expected the leather to be comparable to other USA made shoes retailing for 350 or above but it was more like imported leather. The quality of the shoe was average at best. There were stitching issues at the piping and sole area. I am not sure if these shoes would last too long. I returned them even though I got them for a great deal. I will save up a little more and buy some better quality cap toe boots.

Runs large but otherwise great
The length is long for a size 9. I got a size 9 shoe in the same order and the length is definitely not as long as this boot. Otherwise it's a great fit and wear and all the other comments are spot on with the description.

the boots do not look like the pictures
love Frye but these boots were a disappointment; the worn-out texture you see on the leather in the photos look like someone lazily painted them on with a brush.

I returned the boots because
I returned the boots because they come with an insole lining. They are described as "unlined" on their web page. They are attractive boots but I didn't try them on due to the unexpected lining. I do not want linings or inserts in my boots.

Interesting how my two star review wasn't posted
First of all, Frye appears to not be allowing reviews under 3 stars, as I posted and confirmed a 2 start and it never showed up. That is shady. I've bought THREE pairs of these boots to try and get one that's acceptable. I don't know why everyone here says they fit true to size. Normally I wear a 9, I bought a 9 and they looked like clown shoes. Bought an 8 and they are way too small. Bought an 8.5 and they appear to be USED, the leather feels almost dried out, and the overall QA is pretty terrible. May have to give up on Frye altogether because this is ridiculous.

Other reviews are confusing to me
I'm not sure why there is so much praise in these reviews. I've purchased THREE pairs of these and none of them have been right. I'm a typical size 9 and these looked like clown shoes so I don't know why people say they fit true to size. Sized down to 8 and my feet went numb they were so tight. Bought a size 8.5 and the leather is nothing like the others...dried, faded (almost brown), odd craftsmanship issues, and they actually look like they are USED, which is unacceptable after purchasing "new." These boots look great but the quality is extremely inconsistent and I'm about to give up on finding an acceptable pair.
