Fine footwear
Beautiful boots with a heritage, made in the USA. I bought the black 8R after owning some taller brown Engineers for seven years. I think they go with everything and totally span the seasons. To me, they feel substantial and instill confidence. The soles are nonslip and the heels are just right. They don't go "clunk clunk clunk" when I walk, either; they barely make a sound. The best thing about them is how comfortable they are. I border on having wide feet; it has never mattered with these. I've owned the black boots for a couple of weeks now, and they feel great. I wear them with thin or thick socks, or tights.

once were amazing, now trashhhh
loved my first pair to death, bought a new pair to replace, now they are such poor quality, so sad..
if you want good hard wearing boots, find others.

I love these boots!
I'm a hairstylist and I was looking for something comfortable and stylish and I am so happy I found these. They fit true to size for me 8.5 and were broken in within hours. Quality is spot on and its worth the higher price tag. Picture does not do these boots justice. Great with skinny jeans and leggings and can be worn with anything.

growing on me
I bought these (my fifth pair) and I'm a 7.5 and I bought them in 7.5 and they fit a bit tight.. I can't wear thick socks. I know after a few wears I'll be able to and so far they comfortable! the actual shaft of the boot is so large that it makes my legs looks a bit chicken-like but it's the style of the shoe, I tightened the top buckle one more and it's looks so much better. So if you're iffy about the boot shape, altering the buckle helps! Also, the toe is more rounded then I thought so my feet look tiny. Overall, I'm happy about the shoes.. I'm just picky!!

These boots are very comfortable and very well made. I wore them all day at work and at the end of they day I was still chugging along in them comfortably.

First pair of Frye boots!
These are my first Frye boots and I LOVE them! I'm a short gal so the 8r boots are good for me. I had a hard time deciding on a style but eventually got these and I'm very pleased. I love that the black isn't distressed and is more of a matte black. These are definitely more of a masculine style boot but if you wear them with the right style clothes they totally work and don't look overly masculine. They are a great boot and I highly recommend them!

excellent boot
I got the brown in size 6.5, It fit nicely. I normally wear between 6.5-7 size. It is a little snug at the moment but I am sure it will loosen up after some wear. The leather is solid and the little heels gives some height. Great shoe!
