Frye is not the same !
I loved these boots. I have a pair from a long time ago. They are great quality and fit! I decided to get a new pair in different color. The size 5 did not fit. The instep is low. Can’t get my foot in the boot. I tried a 5-1/2 the same thing. I really want these boots, so I ordered a size 6. I got one foot in (with a struggle) and still couldn’t get my foot in one of the boots!! I of course had to send them all back! Bummer! I am thinking a different company must be making the boots for Frye! Sad. I will just have to keep wearing my old boots.

My favorites but durability is lacking
I got these back in November, they were my favorite pair of shoes until recently (around 5 months later) when I noticed a seam came undone and that there was a big hole on the side. I was surprised given that these were fry’s, leather, and a whopping 300 dollars. It’s not like I do hard labor in these boots, I wear them to school or my office job. I expected more durability. Nordstrom handled it really well but I’m doubtful if I bought these from Frye themselves if they would’ve been as generous after I had read their terms and conditions…

Frye is not the same !

Love love love these boots! My foot slides right in and out without struggling. They need a little breaking in which is no problem as the leather is so soft and giving. They smell wonderful too! Great Frye quality.
