Love my Taylors!

I thought for a while before purchasing these headphones, and I'm so happy that I bought them. The quality is outstanding, the leather and metal are truly good quality and I expect these to last ages. I have bought other, cheaper over-ear headphones because they were cute, but they were plastic and uncomfortable to wear for more than a short time. I wore my Frends Taylor headphones for five hours straight on a bus ride, and they were comfortable the whole time. They are noise-cancelling, and the sound quality is great, as you'd expect. These are definitely not just for looks. Every detail was well thought-out in these, including the nylon-wrapped cord, the "sideways" plug, etc. And they are so good-looking. I've gotten a few comments already. I bought some of the interchangeable headphone caps, which you can see in the photo. One was easy to get on and off and one was a little trickier - I think it just varies by individual caps. I like being able to swap out the look, it's a really fun idea. These come with a "clutch" carrying case, it's nice leather with the Frends gold logo embossed on it. You can see it in the photo too. It's just big enough to hold the headphones while folded up. It even has little side pockets inside to carry two spare sets of headphone caps with you - clever! Overall I love these headphones, they're high quality and gorgeous and I want to wear them constantly!

They don't last

I bought these headphones for the first time in September 2013. I received so many compliments about them every time I wore them and I absolutely loved them. Quite unfortunately, they broke after less than two months of use. The remote stopped working. I returned them and got a new pair in November 2013. I had to return them again in January 2014 because something was broken in one of the headphones and it kept rattling. The next pair I go lasted until June 2014 but alas, they broke again - this time the sound stopped working in both ears. So sad because I really do love the way they look and sound, but it's not worth it to have to return them every few months.

They don't last

Beautiful headphones but poor quality sound

I feel in love with the look of these headphones immediately. Nothing out there really like them with that jewelry type quality. But at the price the sound quality should be good. The earbuds the iPhone comes with have better sound quality then these. Speakers already cracklings. Too bad, because they are beautiful :( at that price I should buy noise canceling Boss headphones.

Love my Taylors!

Gorgeous headphones, but terrible sound quality

These headphones are definitely not worth $200. The sound quality seems for like what you would find in a pair of $50 headphones. There's too much emphasis on the bass and too little clarity on other notes. Also, the headphones seem a bit flimsy. The band is really thin, and every time I bend the ear cups in so I can store the headphones, the length of the headphones extends, so that every time I take them back out again, I have to refit them to my head. In addition, the ear cups are really tight against both sides of the head, so the headphones can't be worn for longer than an hour at a time, otherwise you get a headache. Aesthetic wise, the headphones are probably the best you could find. But I'm just not willing to sacrifice good sound for a pair of pretty headphones.

Beautiful!

These headphones are incredible!!! You will not be disappointed if you buy them. They are comfortable and I love the interchangeable caps. Finally there are headphones for women that are as beautiful as earrings. I tried on every pair and decided to go with the oil slick ones. I've been getting so many compliments on them! I suggest getting the 'Taylor' headphones because of the interchangeable caps and I think they are more comfortable than the smaller version. Small or large, these headphones rock!

Beautiful but Uncomfortable

These headphones are gorgeous, and everything about them seems really high quality and luxe. I really love the look of them, but unfortunately I had to return them because they were just too uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. At first they seemed comfortable with the cushy leather padding, but they are a little heavy, and they have to push against your ears to form a good seal, which ended up hurting my ears after just a short period. Also, I noticed that while the headphones did a good job of blocking outside noise, they seemed to amplify certain internal sounds (like your footsteps or chewing noises) more than normal headphones, so if you like to listen to stuff on your headphones while doing other things it could be a little distracting. I still gave the headphones three stars because they are so nice in every other way, and some people might not be bothered by the things that made the headphones no good for me. Overall I thought the sound quality was excellent, and I really liked the fabric cord with the little remote and flat plug. If only these were over-ear headphones instead of huge on-ear, they probably would have been perfect.
