Whisper Cutout Sleeveless Dress

This ran small for me. I am solidly a size 6, 28 in jeans (37x29x39), 9 months postpartum so my body is certainly different than it was pre-pregnancy. I ordered this in an 8 off reviews that it ran small. It zipped and if I am standing, it looks fine. If I sit, it feels tight and there is some unflattering spillage through the cutout (I am quite fit even post-baby). I would not wear this dress because of this. This line of dresses is so inconsistent. Most of the reviews say they run very small. I ordered the French connection whisper light dress (high neck sleeveless boat neck dress) and it was massively too big when I ordered up based on reviews. Ultimately I thought this dress was really cute, but I don’t feel confident enough to wear it at this point. Also, the coral color is fantastic and the fabric is wonderful. Hope someone else rocks it.

I'm not sure why people say this runs small?? I'm 5'9", 170lbs and 34DDD and my usual size 10 fit great even though I had a baby 4 mos ago. I picked this up to wear to a bachelorette party in Vegas for a friend. I like that it holds all my cleavage in with no spillage. I will say that the skirt does run short, but I am tall and have long legs so if you're shorter maybe a non-issue. I paired the dress with a black and gold fringe duster and some gold heels.

This dress is cute and well made (thick fabric & lined), but it is super small. I am usually a 4 (and sometimes a 2 depending on brand), but the 6 was tight - I could zip it up all the way, but it was tight. I would go up two sizes unless you’re ordering junior sizing. I thought the length was good though. For reference I am 5’7”, about 135 lbs and 34C.
