I’ve been wanting a vest to add variety to my existing wardrobe so this is perfect at the NAS price! Really really love that it’s 100% cotton as I try to avoid polyester like the plague! You could make this look preppy or mix it w non-preppy things for a modern look and to avoid looking like you walked out of a catalogue for (pick any preppy brand). Very versatile. The front is shorter than the back which you can see in the pics so make sure you’re ok with that. At 5.6, it’s long enough in front for me in the medium.

The top portion fit beautifully true to (slightly oversized) size. The problem is the side seams down near the hem area. As shown in the side photo, the side seams have slits and the back portion is longer than the front. That would be fine, except for an unusual knitwear design feature: the side seams flare out at the high hip, which you expect in a woven blouse but not a loose knit. The hip flare causes strange volume around the hips and the fabric doesn't drape nicely around the hem area. The photographs don't accurately show the fit. This piece would probably look best on someone with a short torso and wide upper hip. It's an on-trend layering piece. The color is a creamy white. The neckline brings to mind 1930's sports clothing. The weight is medium - neither light nor bulky. It's fairly loosely knit, so with cable stitches it drapes nicely everywhere except at the hip seams. For me.
