Flowy Belted Trench Coat

Love the cut of this stylish trench. It fits me beautifully though the shoulders and sleeves, then nips in just a bit at the waist to fit smoothly without bunching up with the belt tied - like in the picture. Based on other reviews I was actually surprised that the fabric is a substantial twill and is fully lined - I was expecting some featherweight all-weather type fabric. Maybe because I live in LA, it seems heavy for Spring or Summer showers. But I'm keeping it because the fit and details are so gorgeous, especially for the price. For reference I am 5'10" and 34DD, usually a 10 or 12, and the L fits me like a glove.

Love this trench. I bought it in pink for spring and it is just lovely. It fits beautifully, feels wonderful on and is just the right weight for spring. I have gotten tons of compliments on it. I also love that it holds its shape without starting to look like it needs a good pressing. Its a nice clean, fresh look.

This is a gorgeous coat in the blush. Great material, comfortable, doesn't lose its shape. However, none of that matters if you can even wear the thing. I'm 5'5" and roughly 130lbs. This coat is ginormous and I've had to size down twice. It still doesn't fit quite right and I don't want to look like Harry Potter in his baggy hand-me-downs. But, I'm also an idiot and sized up when I should have given the extra small an extra chance. I will exchange the small for the XS this weekend and pray I can come to a happy conclusion. Otherwise, I'm eyeing that pink Kate Spade trench. Unfortunately,

MEH. I like the material, the basic look, and the fact that this coat is not cotton that would easily wrinkle and get dirty. There was a side view of the coat and I thought it MIGHT be an issue and it IS: it is slightly longer in the back! Kinda weird! Not sure what the designer was thinking. It is slightly larger than expected. I have never been a "Small" in anything, so ordered my usual "Medium". ( I wear 6s & 8s) The shoulders are definitely big (I can easily wear a sweater under) and the sleeves are long. I am keeping it because I don't have time to shop around and will make it work. Pickier people probably wouldn't.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this trench. I bought both the blush AND then ordered the stone/cream color ~ which can be worn both in spring and fall. It fits perfectly, true to size, feels wonderful on and is just the right weight for spring. I wore the blush with a black turtle neck, black skinny jeans and short black boots with a gorgeous blush/gray/black large shell statement necklace I designed! Then wore all stone/cream with a gold/cream statement necklace. Absolutely stunning - the compliments keep coming. As a designer, the fabric, color and style are the perfect design combination! I will ask hubby for an early b-day present for the black trench!!!

Perfect trench and I love the on trend blush color. My favorite thing about this trenchcoat is that there are only two snaps to secure it. Usually when I wear a trenchcoat I do not use the buttons and allow it to sort of swing. When there are a lot of buttons on it, it can look unfinished to do that but with this code it looks great. The extra-large is plenty large enough. I am 5 foot 10 with broad shoulders. I could easily wear a sweater or blazer under this coat.
