These durable pants are stretchy, breathable and weather-resistant, designed to rip the mountain bike down the trails with confidence and comfort. They have quick-drying, water/wind-resistant qualities with movement-mirroring stretch that compliments every pedal stroke. The DuraPrint™ technology reinforces the inner ankle for superior abrasion resistance against the toughest terrain. The 15-inch side zips at the hem make it easy to put knee pads on at the top of the climb, while the contoured waistband with a higher back provides essential coverage when maneuvering the bike through complex terrain. A slide lock snap closure, bonded back waistband and Low-Pro™ side waist adjustment tabs create a custom fit.

Lightweight, breathable MTB pants. Stretchy material allowing maneuverability on the bike - even allowing room for knee pads. Abrasion resistant for the occasional dirt nap. Have used in warm desert summers and cool NW shoulder seasons. Pockets comfortable hold phone or granola bar for easy access. Also resistant to wet brush but not waterproof.

The little strap waist tightener is dinky and weak, no match for a large butt like mine (6'0, 195). The whole thing ripped off on the second or third wearing. Cyclists behind me have suffered gruesome visuals as a result. I generally love OR but this is a disappointment.

these pants are great. they are perfect fit with the right amount of stretch. I will order more pairs. I had seen a youtube video saying they were a heavy fabric and best for spring and fall, but I dont find that to be true. they are comfortable and not too hot or too cold. the pockets are perfect sized. I dont bike with much in my pockets but will care a granola bar, wallet, keys or other small things and they fit them nicely without being to large or small.

Super comfortable stretch and breathable for cool weather. I use them for mtb and cold weather workouts. use them a lot. Buying another pair. Flexible fit and waist fits comfortably. Pockets work well with one perfect for your phone. Good for any outdoor activity in cooler weather. Works with padded shorts or without. They are also durable. I have other mtb pants that go unused because I use these instead.

One MTB Pant to Rule Them All
If there is "One MTB Pant To Rule Them All" then the Freewheel pants are them! The fit and features make these pants the dominant and preferred pant for my riding year round. So much as s I own 5 pair, along with the Freewheel LS Jersey. Trust me on this, you will thank yourself for making the purchase of these pants. Love the lower side zips for the ease of pad adjustment without having to wrestle a pad under the pant fabric. The easy adjust side tabs for tightening the waist are a far cry from Velco! Lastly the locking button and the modern phone sized pockets located on the side of the leg, make these the best pants on the planet.

Go To Riding Pants
I've used these pants for a range of conditions and styles of biking. From downhill racing to all-day backcountry expeditions. I appreciate all of the adjustments available in the waistband. I've stuffed the pockets full of tools and snacks and the zippers always hold true. The zipper along the ankles is a nice touch for knee pads or just allowing some more air flow. They're ideal for riding temps below 65 F I'd say.

Comfortable Ride
Great pants for rides and relaxing in between. Material moves with you and the cut is comfortable for a wide range of athletic activities. Has an appropriate amount of pockets and overall just a great bike pant. Having worn these for shorter experiences I am looking forward to bringing them on a weeklong bike tour in Japan. Great pants and suggest them for anyone regardless of riding experience levels.
