Ultraviolet Maxi Dress

Ok, first let me just say that I love this dress! I purchased it for full price the other day and found it cheaper on a competitor website so went into the store and they did a price adjustment. The very strange thing is this dress is 45% off right now at NordstromRack which is even cheaper then the competitive website price I found. I did not find this out until I got home later on. A little disappointed that Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack would have the same dress available for significantly different prices - one for full price at $148 and one for 45% off at $79.97. This has now prompted me to check the Rack every time I buy something from now on.

so cute in concept with sleeves plus backless just my vibe....honestly. perfect cinching at the waist. I ordered this same dress literally five times. each time the dress fit differently. Only one fit properly and the straps were coming off (needed to be resewn I think). After spending like a 160 dollars on a cotton dress it didnt seem worth it to keep it. returning it asap. overall slightly large, ia m a true size 6 - small was too small and medium is a tad big but couldve worked if the straps werent coming undone.

I got this dress for some maternity photos. I decided to go with the Large for obvious reasons.....don't know what I was thinking. I'm usually an XS in Free People, and this dress under normal circumstances I would have sized down twice. The straps are NOT adjustable in the back...I thought they were, which is why I sized up. But I was still able to make it work for the photos, but the chest area was loose and frumpy, and the shoulders don't stay on. I'm going to exchange for my regular size, and even with my belly, I think it will work for normal wear the rest of my pregnancy because of the billowy style.
