Torres Turtleneck Sweater

So this sweater may be cute if it was $25... but for the price, I expected a lot more. The material is stiff and it kinda lays weird, not a soft drape. It is a boxy oversized fit. The sugar swizzle color online looks like a nice off white but in person is a very yellowish cream. Save your time and pass on this one.

Oh I like this one! Stitching is well done, rich olive color, weight is just right for a slightly cooler day and the higher neckline with a rolled edge adds to the overall character. Sleeves aren’t too long and the bottom hits just above a high shorts line for me, so it’s a little longer which is nice and it’s level (no high-low action). Can see this sweater easily dressed up if you’re looking for a date night throw on. TTS: 5’2 / 110 lbs. / Ordered XS

I bought this to wear with dress pants and heels for a business-casual event. It is not appropriate for any remotely put-together look. The sleeves are oddly bulky and unflattering, the material is not soft or pleasant on the skin. It’s oversized but not in an appealing or stylish way. This is a huge miss by free people, not worth anything close to the price.

This is a very cute sweater, don't get me wrong. However, there are a few things to know before purchasing. The material, albeit cotton, is stiff and rough, not moveable or soft. Lastly, the color "sugar swizzle," is incredibly confusing and unhelpful. The picture of the sweater itself is also misleading, making the sweater look to be a neutral off-white color; however, please note that the sweater color is much more yellow. I feel that for the amount of money you are spending, you should know exactly what you're getting with more honest advertising.

I have no idea how this has gotten less than 5 stars. I loved it so much that I purchased all 3 colors. It’s very well made and the material is thick. I’m not sure how to describe the material, it’s not chenille soft, it’s more like thick cotton. Obsessed with the neckline. I’ve dressed it up for work and casual. Perfectly oversized for me, but I’m short. Hits right at my lower butt. I love it.
