Too Good Sweater

As I’m laying my beloved precious pink sweater out perfectly to dry I had the brilliant idea to go see if the sweater was still in stock to purchase another for myself and one for my sister. And to my luck it is!! Before I elaborate on that this is the SIZING INFO I can offer: I am typically by sizing standards an XS/S. I am 5’8 125-135 lbs currently 130 lbs 36C-26 waist 25 hips. Size 2/4 dress. Size 26/27 pants. A size SMALL in this sweater fits me PERFECTLY. I usually order my loungewear in a medium if I do not know the brand’s sizing and I know free people tends to fit larger so I’m glad I went with the small. This sweater is A DREAM for lounging. It could also easily be worn out but I’ve been a homebody recovering from surgery so I’ve been home for a month LIVING IN THIS SWEATER which by the way isn’t unsightly to repeatedly see because my mom and boyfriend compliment it every single wear. 6+ people have wholeheartedly complimented this sweater, some in person and some via FaceTime. Everyone is in agreement about this sweater, it’s TOO GOOD! The cut is unique but if you don’t mind your midsection showing when you raise your arms to stretch or reach for something from a high cabinet then you’re fine! It is not cropped when it is on, it is not long but it does not show the tummy AT ALL when arms are down and that’s coming from a 5’8 person with a very long torso. The arms are longer than usual arm lengths so either push them up, fold them up or leave them cutely long. This sweater looks great with or without a bra (36C) and the material passes my extremely sensitive hand test... !!!!!!0% itchiness!!!!!! !!!!!!100% comfortable breathable coziness!!!!!! It’s not too warm either unless you’re moving briskly for a while cleaning or something you might notice the mock neck at that point but it is usually the IDEAL WEIGHT/temperature regulating item to throw on. And the pink color?!? Literally the best pink I could have imagined. I will say, if you have a much larger upper body and do not like your midriff seen even for a second, I would suggest a tank top underneath. Easy fix! Plus at the very least get this sweater for your own enjoyment and comfort. Who cares how it looks!! It just happens to look great on top of feeling great!! I have been steering clear of free people because I felt like they diminished their material quality and overall designs/effort to mass produce but this sweater reeled me back in! KEEP IN MIND you’ll be “handwashing and laying flat” unless you’re like me and equate handwashing to machine washing on delicate with a handful of other “handwash”ers in the load. Totally fine, didn’t get stretched or anything. I have found that most of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe are “handwash and lay flat” items. Annoying but worth the effort!! :):)
