Love! Love! Love! these pants!
First, let me say that I normally am an XS in Free People tops as they always run large on me. Our Nordstrom store only had this pant in a size small in the dried herb color. I tried them on, and they seemed a bit big and baggy on me so I took a chance and ordered them in the XS. (I’m normally a size 4 in regular pants). They fit perfectly and were so comfortable. I ended up also ordering them in the tofu color as I had been looking for a nice pair of off-white summer cargo pants. I think I even like the tofu color a little better, but I’ll still keep both. I love all the pockets on them!
For reference, I am 5 foot 2 and they are a little longer on me than pictured in the tofu color. It would be so helpful if they told you the height of the models in the picture. If you are tall, these may end up being a little short on you. If you like a looser fit then go with your usual size, but if you don’t want them to be as baggy you may want to consider sizing down as I did.

cargos came completely damaged
Pants were delivered with no buttons and drawstring completely undone !! Nordstrom retail is really just going downhill at this point

But my husband didn’t. Didn’t like the pockets 🙄🫤. Nice weight. The large was too roomy for me, 5’10” and 160. May exchange for the medium. (Love my husband, but he’s not always right.)

I love the fabric its light weight for summer. The fit its is loose, but not baggy it skims over your hips, has exposed front zipper and string tie at the waist the best part they are mid rise!! finally I am so tired of high rise pants. The noticeable attached pockets makes these pants truly cargo pants remind me of the DA Nang pants of the past. I love these pants so much have all three colors

Not for petites
Despite being only 5'0", the length was fine. However, at 104 pounds, the waist, hips and thighs were way too large. Had to return. Love the style. I wish an XXS was available.

Absolutely Fabulous
This a great casual cargo pant. Nice weight (not too heavy, not too light). Extremely comfortable and thank you FP making this with a lower rise. For those of us with short waists, it's almost impossible to find pants that don't have a high rise these days. This hangs beautifully on the hips and has a nice straight line with same width bottoms. No unflattering bell bottoms or flares, just a great drape straight down that would be clean and flattering on any body type. I'm a true size 8 and the small was perfect.

Don't get black
I love these pants. They're very versatile and extremely comfortable. My only complaint is all the dye transfer from the black pair I purchased. It's stained my dryer after first wash and the pants looked extremely faded afterwards. I also need to be careful with the shoes I wear. Over time it's stained my sneakers and my suede clogs. So unfortunate because I would wear them more often if it wasn't for the color transfer. I'm going to purchase a lighter color in hopes of not having this issue.
