Spellbound Tie Dye Kimono Duster

I love this "kimono" but the quality is not very good. I have worn it less than ten times, and only for a very short while each time. Out for dinner, out shopping, occasions like that. I get compliments every time I wear this. The front seam started with a snag/run almost immediately so I ran a quick zig-zag across it. It is a little noticeable, but only if you really look hard. The fabric is pilling, there are threads hanging out from all the hems and it looks old already. I shall use it as a pattern since it would be easy to make a few of these out of good quality fabric. I wear it with my cropped jeans, black or leopard print sandals and a black tshirt. Really cute style!

Such a design disappointment. While the material is wonderful, the design in so called "Sleeves" is atrocious and awkward. The back is layed out in such a way as to create what is more like a pointed bat wing than even remotely a sleeve at all and no actual shoulder. So it will lie very unevenly across the shoulders at the back. Sometimes we suffer from over design in an attempt to create the illusion of new. Sometimes that works in this case it does not.
