Sing La La Tank

I’m in love with this top. I purchased it in 3 colors …white, burgundy and olive …and love to pair it differently with each color. I dressed the white one up with dark raw hem jeans and open toe pumps, the olive I wore with distressed jeans and wedge sandals for a boho look. The burgundy I have yet to wear but I was thinking a patterned opened kimono with lace up the leg sandals and capris. The fabric is well made, slightly thick to resist tears but light enough to let a breeze in. For me, I usually wear a medium in Free People but sized down to a small. I didn’t want the top to be too oversized and drown me in it, so by sizing down it’s still loose and flowey without looking like a garbage bag. The middle of the top stops just at my belly button and it slowly goes downward similar to a high low top. For reference I am 5’4, 145 lbs, 36D. Having a fuller bust will definitely improve the appearance of this top. If I saw this top online I would’ve skipped it, but I came across it in the store on the hanger and loved it on me. I’d definitely recommend sizing down.

More than 50% of my tops are free people! The cut is short & way too wide. The fabric is thick & too heavy. I know manufacturers had problems because of COVID, but I hate seeing them trying to pass off junk to the consumer!

This blouse is huge. I read the reviews so I bought one size down. However, I should have bought two or three sizes down. This is ridiculous, the sizes are way off. Where my tag is on the blouse, actually looks like the part that I should be showing when I am wearing the blouse. The tag is place on the wrong side of the blouse. Please view my pictures, I took a picture of both sides of the blouse where the tag is. The side where the tag is actually looks like the side that I should be wearing the blouse on. Poor construction of this blouse. Red cloth shedding is on my bed from this blouse.

Really like this top to layer over tanks and tees. It runs large in typical free people fashion but if you know your size it fits well. It’s actually kind of thick so probably not for hot summer days. I actually like it over a simple long sleeve clingy black tee or tank. Can be worn in cooler weather. It adds a real feminine and stylish vibe to a basic outfit. I am hourglass shaped and it really accentuates my hips and waist in a sexy way, so something to keep in mind.
