Pretty Perfect Faux Fur Peacoat

I read that this runs true to size, so I went with my true size medium. It was way too big, and the sleeves hung down almost covering my entire hand. I like the coat, though, so I'm returning and getting a small. I fully expect that even with a small I will be able to easily wear a sweater or other bulky items under this coat. The pockets are roomy, the texture of the jacket feels kind of like a teddy bear, and the snaps are large and very easy to use. I got this so that I could dress it up or down and I think it's the perfect middle ground kinda coat! It is worth noting that, when I tried this coat on, I was wearing black pants. And the light colored hairs/fibers from the coat were all over the pants after I tried it on.

I’m a huge faux fur fan! I live for winter so I’m always checking out coats and jackets. This jacket is cozy, kind of boxy, and makes me smile. However, there are a few flaws. Love the snap front but there’s a huge gap between bottom and chest-level snap, which makes a pronounced stomach-level bulge. The pockets are deep; but, they scrimped on lining. It’s a scratchy, cheap-feeling material (compared to some Nike and Ugg jackets I own that have soft, luxurious linings). On sale, it’s a nice addition to my coat collection. But, if I paid full-price, I’d return.

I hadn’t planned on buying a jacket when I went Xmas shopping at my Nordstrom, but I’m so glad that I purchased this super cozy & warm jacket. I’ve received soooo many compliments on it. It runs exceptionally large. I usually wear a large or even an extra large jackets, but this one was a perfect fit in a size small ! I bought the Tea color , but if it was available, I’d buy it in black too. Sadly that’s sold out.
