Nightingale Cardigan

My measurements are 31-25-37 and I ordered an XS in cabernet. I usually order XS in free people since they're so oversized and I have a small chest, but I wasn't expecting how enormous this sweater would be. I would have kept it for loungewear if it were half the price or available in a smaller size, but at over $100, there needs to be more structure and tailoring for me to keep a piece. If you do buy, be sure to check the knit for snags. I found a couple in mine before I sent it back.

This cardigan is a super fit knit fabric, and the XS is super oversized! I like it a lot for wearing around the house when it's cold, or to wear outside on days when it's chilly but you don't need a coat. It's so thick that you would need a really big coat to wear over it, so keep in mind that it has to be worn as a top layer. Additionally, I am 5'4 and fairly thin, and the XS comes down to just above my knees, so it is fairly long!

Love this! High quality, heavy-weight knit that feels like wearing a blanket. I typically wear a XS/S and got a M since it was the only size left. It does seem to run large but the look is over-sized in general. This seems like a piece that will not stretch and pill like other sweaters. Highly recommend!

I bought this cardigan as a gift for a persnickety dresser, and I'm confident she'll love it. This cardigan is a heavy knit—it definitely feels like a quality sweater. I was pleasantly surprised because, when I think of really, really good sweater brands, Free People isn't the first to come to mind. The fit and the knit are excellent, however, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a versatile, oversized cardigan.
