Not for me
This runs very large, even if I had ordered an XS, I think I would have been swimming in it. It just was not not flattering on me. No shape to it. The fabric is pretty thick, so it definitely feels more like a jacket than a shirt. Also, the color was much more drab than I expected.

Lots of styling opportunities!
Solid size 12, 5.7 175-curvy (59). I got a large and a medium, definitely runs big. I kept the medium . Love the details... HOWEVER, the material heft was COMPLETELY different. The large was much heavier and the medium was much more relaxed. I’m not sure if the medium was was prewashed or what. I would have kept the large if it had fit, but I did prefer the relaxed fit of the medium. The medium wears like a larger shirt, the large more like a jacket.
I plan to layer this with a tank and skinny jeans. Lots of turquoise and boots! This will be a fun piece to stylize.

not for me
Looked cute on the model but like most Free People, the sizing runs very large. I was able to get my hands on a Med during the Anniv Sale but it was huge! It fit my 6’ son. I’m 5’ 4” and the length was really long plus it’s a heavy fabric and didn’t feel great on so I’ll be returning it.

Best jacket
This is just the best jacket I’ve ever had. It fits perfectly (ordered an xl and I’m a 2x plus), in fact it still has that oversized look even thought it fits nicely. The construction is also really good. I’ve got other nice jackets in my collection, but this one is wearable as a daily item and jumped straight to the top of my favorites immediately. Love love love it! Even the distressing is done well. If you’re a smaller body shape you might consider getting a size or two down, but don’t pass this up altogether. It’s just so perfect!
