I'm so happy I splurged on these sandals. The leather is smooth and buttery and I love how unique looking they are. I typically wear a 6.5 sometimes a 7. I ordered both a 36 and 37 and the 37 fit perfectly. The 36 was snug and my toes where to close to the front of the shoe. Hands down these are a win!

Way too small
Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes. I bought another pair of Free People sandals, and they fit perfectly, but I could not even get my foot into these shoes. I do have a rather wide foot, size 8 (38 in these), but I was surprised how differently these fit than my other Free People shoes. These shoes were also discolored when they arrived, so I would have returned them even if they fit. Just not a good shoe for me.

Almost Perfect!
I love this shoe....the only complaint is that it is a little loose in the heel, I am a 8.5/9 and I ordered the 40, which I have in the bootie. This is the ONLY reason for 4 starts. I almost sent this back and got the 39 BUT my toes are long and are at the stitch line in the front, any shorter and they will be right at the edge (see picture) which I hate and I usually will get sandals in a 9 to ensure that my toes are not over or close to the edge. I think if the back was not closed in it probably would have been a better fit but an open back would take away from the uniqueness of the shoe.

Great Idea, Mediocre Execution
I REALLY wanted to like this shoe. The design is unique yet practical. Unfortunately, the color of the shoe is much more tan than the rich color portrayed in the image. The quality of leather is also just okay for $180 sandal. I've always loved Frye shoes for their quality and simple style. But recently, Frye's styling has become more trendy and a bit over the top for my tastes. The Free People Mont Blanc sandal could have been a beautiful and simple staple shoe, but the color and quality was just mediocre. Disappointed.

Stylish Shoe
True to size, very modern, sandal/bootie- will look cute either with dress or jeans
Can't attest to comfort since I'm waiting for snow to be gone.

Pretty but sized small.
Returned. I wanted to love these though.
I fell in love with these last year and couldn’t justify the price. So I stewed on it for the whole year. Now that it’s time to buy sandals I decided I’d try a cheaper version. I got them and they were way too wide. So I sent them back. Fine. I’ll splurge on the nice pair. I ordered these in the black.
When they arrived they were gorgeous. I was so excited. The leather was buttery smooth and they were just so dang pretty.
Wait. I can’t get my foot in. Did I order the right size? Yup. But my foot still won’t go in. I finally shoved it in and it was clear it was just way too small. My toes hung off the front, the top cut into my foot and ankle, and it felt like my foot was being held by a boa constrictor.
Once I finally got my foot out they got sent back immediately.
