We the Free Makai High Waist Cutoff Shorts

I am normally a 29 in jeans, sometimes a 30 if its belly button high waist. I had to get a 31 in these to even get them to button. Love the color, distressing is in all the right places and the length is perfect for this 40+ Mom. Thinking of getting the other color. Grab a pair, these are gonna sell out fast!

Based on the reviews, I purchased my normal size and one size up. My normal size fit perfect. They are a tad loose in the leg but not too much...just right! The next size up was loose and baggy all over. Additionally I ordered both colors. Let me say you can hardly tell the difference but I decided to keep them in loose cannon. The other choice reminds me of acid wash. I am 5'9" and was concerned that these would be too short but they are not.

Such a good pair of denim shorts! Great length, and leg openings are loose and comfy without looking saggy or unflattering. I will say that I run between a 23-24 in waist and I ordered a 24 in 2 washes. One was nearly too tight, but I am hoping it stretches with wear, because I love the wash and distressing. The other is kind of a dingy wash…not appealing, so that pair is going to be returned, but it fit very well! I’m going to say true to size, but be aware that the sizing does slightly vary from pair to pair. The lightest wash is the one that looks dirty/dingy…even my hubby pointed this out while I tried them on.

I love these shorts. They are soft denim. Feels like your favorite broken in jeans. The perfect length. I stayed true to size. They were a tad snug at first, but Heads up..they will stretch with wear, so think about that if you think you feel the need to size up according to some reviews. I wouldn't suggest sizing down though.
