Feelin' Good Linen Blend Utility Pants

These pants are so ridiculously comfortable that I bought three pairs. They are definitely large so size down. I usually wear a 4 and I got an XS and they are still a bit baggy, but for lounge pants it's perfect. Word of warning however, all three pairs now have rips in them. The material that makes them so comfy also makes them VERY fragile. Had I known, I never would have washed them in the washing machine. I would have had them dry cleaned or used dryel to clean them. I would buy them again, but I would NEVER wash/dry them in the washing machine. Definitely either hand wash/dry or dry clean. They will last much longer. Also even in cold water on the delicate cycle the color fades quickly, another reason to dry clean.

Great color, great fabric, terrible design. I had to return because the rise was so long that the waist was about 5 inches to high or if worn at the waist the crotch was halfway to my knees. I even took to my tailor but he couldn’t fix without destroying the design so sadly, I returned them. So disappointed.

For some these pants will probably be just fine. Free people has continued to produce long and drop crotches. And while these aren’t a drop crotch, the rise is super long in the crotch area. I suspect they have the model pinned in all sorts of ways in this photo. I’m giving them 3 stars because the photos are misleading. The material is lightweight and they are really nice in person. They are going to work for some of you. I purchased a medium 5’6” 150 lbs which allowed a little room. The smalls were fine too. I’d say these are typical free people sizing.
