Dream Cable Crewneck Sweater

LOVE this sweater - I wanted a cableknit but they are usually very classic, stiff, and boxy which isn't my style. Free People made the perfect drapey fit with loose arms, right in line with their usual oversized & modern fits! It's soft and thick - perfect for winter. One of my fave sweaters now!

I got a x small and I'm 5'5", 105lb. The sweater color is absolutely gorgeous and the body fit is fine, but the sleeves are extremely flared to the point where it's very unflattering in the lower arm and the sweater is overall just too heavy and weighted. I ended up returning it but it's a decent holiday sweater.

Love the color but disappointed! Once again free people does it again I got the large which is a normal size for me and the sweater is huge I got the hibiscus color which of course no longer has the medium! I’m really frustrated with FreePeople brand they think everybody wants to look like a tent!!!!

Love the look but the arms are too long and I didn’t like how they looked rolled. I’m a size 8-10 and started with the medium. Returned that for the small and the arms on that one were even longer. Too bad because I wanted it to work.

Okay...well first off I wasn't a fan of the asymmetric cable knit pattern on front but was willing to overlook if everything else was fantastic. But it wasn't. The Fit of the body was not as relaxed and slouchy as I was thinking. The dropped shoulder seam is just sort of in the way and bulky. I did not like the ribbed sleeves that bell out at the cuff. It just wasn't flattering. Lastly - the neckline on the left side is where it is all stitched together and on both the cream and the burgundy it created this bulky bit where the neck and shoulder seam were sewn. Just looked weird. Sadly a miss as I typically love FP.

I wore this sweater about 5 times and there is already a hole in the armpit. I would expect better quality for the price and brand. In terms of fit, I sized down to an XS (usually a size 2 or 4). Wouldn't recommend since there is already a sizeable hole.
