cute barn coat
This coat is super cute and is the perfect barn coat for fall. The reason for the 3 star review is because the washing instructions on the Nordstrom website are wrong. The label inside of the coat says spot clean only, not machine washable.

almost perfect
Runs large. The small felt almost like a men’s small with how long the arms were. Stylistically, I love it. It’s actually what I was looking for. But I was disappointed to find the interior lining is polyester for a $300 jacket. It will hang on to smell so much easier than cotton, and that’s a no-no for a jacket you wouldn’t really be washing. The site did not mention this. Plus the “We the free” black text on brass buttons were a bit too much. I’m trying out the men Barbour Bedale next.

LOVED! Just not for my climate
This coat is HEAVY, and if I lived farther north it would be a keep for sure. Unfortunately with the exception of very few days a year it would sit idly in my closet and I couldn’t justify the price per wear. Loved the fit and color overall!

runs small for FP
Love this jacket, mid weight and lined. However, it runs small for Free People. Normally, a Large is generous, but this jacket barely covered my wrists.
