Worth it!

I bought these shoes in black patent leather in 2024 and basically wore them heavily every other day for 2 years. They were comfortable from day 1. I was most impressed with the finish. The patent finish never scratched and creasing was minimal. The shoe fails in the sole. They eventually crack. I know this because I met another wearer of the same shoe and hers was failing in the same place as mine. All in all though, for the comfort I had, compliments I received, and generally satisfaction with the shoe, I'd re-buy it in a heartbeat

Poor Fit for Foot with High Instep

Poor fit - I returned shoe. I'm comparing the fit of the patent stiff plastic-y tassel loafer to the comfortable, perfect fit of the black suede Franco Carolynn Tassel Loafer, identical style, purchased three years ago. I have a high instep that can be a challenge to fit some styles. The suede Franco loafer, same design and size as the "patent" shoe fits my foot, is comfortable and has been my favorite walking shoe on multiple trips to Europe. The recently purchased "patent" loafer FAILS to fit my foot. Same size as the suede loafer, I couldn't slide my foot into the shoe of the patent one. My instep was blocked by the top piece of the shoe. Additionally, the non-pliable plastic-y man-made material is very stiff. I'm disappointed in the lack of consistency in fit, pliability of material and comfort within the same product line. The only similarity between my suede loafer and the "patent" one is the length, which appeared to be the same in the suede and "patent" shoe.

Like walking on a CLOUD!!

They are so comfortable!! At first I purchased an 8 Wide and they were a little big and slipping off the back of my feet and I exchanged them for a 7.5 Wide and that made a big difference!!

Comfortable elegance
