Large Jaw Clip

I paid $48 plus tax for this clip thinking that I am getting a quality product that would last me a while. How else can one justify paying this much for a plastic hair clip? I got this beginning of April and now it's mid-May and the spring in the clip is already broken. As you can see in the photo, it stays open and never closes. Usually with these kind of clips, with long-term use, spring snaps and breaks. That's expected. But only a month and a half after the first use? The spring didn't even get enough use out of it to break. It just stopped working. I now understand why they call it "French Luxe Clip" - it's for people who have the luxury to throw away $50 for a hair clip every few months.

A co-worker recommended this brand of clips and I don’t regret the purchase. I have had my clip for 22 years and it snapped on me…the metal spring…I knew it wouldn’t last forever but it gave me many years of use (almost daily) and because of that I’m purchasing another today. If by chance it does break in the near future, I know Nordstrom will honor a replacement or refund.

This particular style of clip is great if you have fine hair. It holds without slipping. I have two in clear and three other colors including this one. If they come out with more colors I will be purchasing those too. They hold my hair in an elegant and classy upswept twist all day long and looking great! I have tried clips from east to west and back again. These imported gems are of high quality and will last you a long time. I was elated when I found this brand a couple of years ago, and I will never spend money on a clip of lesser value only to have it slip and not preform. These clips are worth EVERY PENNY!!
