great sweater, bad pilling
I wanted a big comfy wool cardigan to throw over everything I wear around the house when it’s cold. I’m a small/medium female and couldn’t find one in the ladies section so bought this one (medium was sold out). It’s a very handsome sweater, 80% wool, nice design. A great boyfriend or husband gift. BUT IT PILLS CONTINUALLY FROM THE FIRST WEAR. In a burst of PR brilliance, the tag acknowledges the pilling but says “This is not a sign of poor quality, actually the opposite as the higher quality yarns are prone to pilling” which is complete hogwash. That said, it keeps me warm, and I attack it with a pilling comb weekly.
