Wow.
First, I hate jeans and denim. I want to wear them but they normally look horrible on me (36”-29”-39”, tallish). I tried on 20 pairs of jeans and these were the winners. Cinched at the waist, just wide enough in the hips, and structured enough to flatten the midsection (which I appreciate—-can’t get that with the super stretchy pants). If you have a curvy figure these might work well.
