Ruched Jersey Maxi Dress

Beautiful, comfy dress for an upcoming outdoor wedding! I bought navy in medium and large- I am 5’7”, 150 lbs and 60 yrs old. Both sizes fit but the “60 yrs old” led me appropriately to the not-as-clingy large it is perfect! Best part— no high heels needed with a maxi! If you have a few areas that are not as fit as you’s like, size up.

The navy Fraiche dress was made for my body. I am 5'5" and weigh 115 and bought the S. The length is perfect! The ruching is helpful in the tummy area. Overall it's is a darling, long, comfortable, and casual dress. I plan to wear it to a casual outdoor bridal luncheon for a wedding in upstate New York in early September. Good job as always, Nordstrom.

This dress is just what I was looking for. Nice neckline, but not plunging. Not too tight but not frumpy at all. It is lined to the knee, and does not have a slit. It is a form-fitting dress. The scrunching adds drape and interest, and also camouflages any tummy pouch. The fabric is stretchy and not too shiny. This dress looks more expensive than it is. Could wear to work, out to dinner, or go very casual. Works with white sneakers, boots, or sandals. Add fancy jewelry to dress up or denim jacket to make more casual. I also ordered the same dress in the black and white tie dye stripe, and it was also really cute. In the end I kept the black one because I felt it was more versatile. The length is perfect--not too long--I would say it is not a true maxi. It is just the length you want so it doesn't look like you tried too hard. I am 5' 4", and around 150 and I ordered the medium.
