Paityn Non-Iron Cotton Shirt

I normally love Foxcroft shirt, but this one has a crazy fit. Do not buy this blouse if you have larger breasts. I ordered my size and one size up. Both fit like a straightjacket. This is likely not suited for anyone larger than a small B cup. The fabric and buttons are nice, but I am rating this one star because there should be a warning about the fit in the description.

Foxcroft Paityn Non-Iron Cotton Shirt has a few cons: too boxy, too short & hot iron needed. It was a bit too boxy which makes it look somewhat frumpy. The length was too short for my long torso. Sizing up would have been far too large for me. Despite following the laundering instructions, the fabric definitely needed a hot iron for all its wrinkles. I was looking for a classic, collared shirt. I wish makers would offer slim/trim fits with tall options for long torsos. I typically wear 0-2 tops & purchased the smallest Foxcroft size. I marked bigger than TTS because the boxy look is hard to conceal.

I made the mistake of thinking that non-iron meant this shirt was wrinkle resistant. In the time that I took it out of the box and tried it on to ensure the fit was correct, I could already see wrinkles forming at the elbows in addition to the creases from it being folded for shipping. If you are looking for a shirt that is nicely tailored and with a nice weight fabric, I would highly recommend it. However, I don’t understand how a non-iron shirt can get wrinkles so quickly. Hence I had to do deduct two stars and I’m returning mine. I own another Foxcroft shirt that is non-iron AND stretch material. That one does not wrinkle - in the future I know to look for stretch as the difference.

I have many of these Foxcroft shirts and they’re wonderful. They are true to size, good quality and definitely no-iron. I have deducted 2 stars for this reason: I ordered the shirt in Rosewater, expecting the soft, pale pink as pictured. What I received was a shirt that was very dark pink, almost fucshia, and darker than the Chambray Pink also pictured. Very disappointing. I returned the shirt because it just wasn’t the color I wanted, even though the packing slip clearly said “Rosewater.” These shirts are great and I recommend them. Just be aware that if you order the Rosewater, you will receive a shirt that is a very different color than expected based on the picture.

I just discovered Foxcroft blouses and love them. They run big, I wear a size 2, and they rarely go on sale but they are definitely worth the price. The color I bought was cloud coral and its a lovely color. The top did need a little ironing after it was washed but not much. For comparison, I'm 5'7" 125lbs
