Birt Wedge Bootie (Women)

First time buying this brand. The color in forest green/sludge patent leather made it irresistible. Bit the bullet and paid the price. It's worth it! I wear a 6 and could wear thick socks since it was wide. I have bunions and still comfortable in my regular size. But the big surprise was the Velcro closure!!! The shoe well is nicely padded and made for long walks. There's good arch support. The back top hugged my ankles in the right place. The 2 3/4 lugged wedge rubber sole height gives me a great lift since I am 5 ft. tall. This shoe will hold up very well in wet snowy weather. Looking forward to wearing this very cool shoe in D.C. for the winter.

True to size, I normally wear 7 and the 7-7.5 fits with plenty of room to wear my thickest wool boot socks. Easy in and off with Velcro buckle. Very comfortable to wear all day. High quality and sturdy. The blue is a dark navy blue, nice color. The upper is thick and stiff, lots of support but not soft and flexible. Very warm too.
