Florence Hoop Earrings

These are beautiful and I enjoy them. The look is definitely elevated and I love the ball backing (thought sometimes can be tricky to attach in a hurry). These are earrings I wear often, but are not ‘every day’ pieces due to their weight. I don’t find them to be lightweight at all and contemplated returning because of their weight, but decided to keep because I like the look. I can wear for a few hours, but not all day.

I get hit up with this ad on my insta feed all the time so I thought I’d give the brand a try. It’s pretty, with a very high quality finish, not too heavy, and with a lovely gold ball to attach it to the back of your ear. Sadly, it was a little too bulky for me - personal preference - but would work for someone who wants a chic standout piece to wear on their ears. Warning as you need to be quite dexterous to hold onto those little balls (backing) without them popping out of your fingers. Perhaps a bit of texture to help with grip. One star off for design.

The earrings are nicer than expected, but they arrived in a ziplock bag. No jewelry box, just a baggie. This is unacceptable for the price and brand. I also received a pair of sunglasses in a bag recently while another pair of the same brand was shipped with the sunglasses box, so it seems to be an issue at Nordstrom. I am fairly certain these items are used or at least, on store displays. Either way, not okay to show any wear and tear and have missing boxes for the price point.
