Floral Side Ruched Sheath Dress

There is something about the cut of the dress that made me look frumpy, despite it actually fitting in all the places where it needed to fit (32I bust, waist, rear). There was something about the angle of the shoulder opening that pulled the eye toward the bust and the bulk of gathered fabric at the waist that made the entire outfit unattractive. Plus the slightly below the knee length actually hit me at mid calf. So one needs to be quite tall to wear this dress and have it look like it does in the picture. I will say that the material felt nice and would be very light and breezy for a spring or summer event. I suppose I could’ve tried to size down so that it would be morning form-fitting but I imagine I’d have too little room in the bust. So I will be returning this.
