Floral Print Sleeveless Shift Dress

I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered down one size -- should have gone down two sizes. Also disappointed by the shape. I have other shift dresses that have a sassy vibe with a hint of curve at the waist. This is closer to a trapeze dress that falls straight from the neckline down to a wider skirt. Also, although I like the colors, I didn't like the fabric. Sort of a thick, squishy polyester. I was expecting this dress to have a lightweight cotton-blend feel. It doesn't. This is not fabric you want on your body on a hot summer day. Sending it back immediately.

I bought this dress for an afternoon birthday party in July. The colors scream summer, but the fabric is knit, heavy, and lined. I guess I didn’t look closely at the material in the description.
