Floral Print Ruffle Smocked Maxi Dress

This dress is gorgeous visually with bright vived colors. However, that's about where it stops. The dress is a chiffon type material and is lined with a slip. This is ok, if you're going to be inside and not outside in heat and humidity. I was actually going to overlook this because it's so beautiful, but then came trying to get the back zipper up. I don't know if it was just this dress or all of them, but the zipper was not smooth at all. I took it off to see if it had gotten hung on the fabric. It had not. It just was not a good zipper. And the dress's final con was the bottom of the zipper under the fabric did not lay flat. It bent upwards making that area of the dress look like it was bubbled up. My husband commented on how beautiful the colors were , but said that zipper was just a deal breaker period.

After trying on almost a dozen dresses for a wedding which requested full length dress attire I found this dress. I saw it at the store and ordered it online a day or so later. Colors are far ore vibrant. than the picture shows. I also needed coverage at the back and a cap sleeve. The dress does it all. The waist expands easily without pulling open the top of the dress. I'll also comment that this dress nicely spans age groups. I am well over 60 and it looked great. My shopping for "the dress" is now done.
