Floral Print Pleated Midi Skirt

I really wanted a long skirt but at 5'4", it's just too much fabric and length for me. It's a nice fabric and fit (my usual size small fit fine). I wasn't crazy about the color which is described as black but to me seems a cross between dark brown and black , but it's look ok with a black top. If it came in a petite size, it might work better for shorter ladies who don't want a real, real maxi. I would buy again from this company as I liked the quality and appreciate that the polyester had a lining as my skin hates the feel of poly.

I’m 5’8” tall and I was sure that this skirt would work on me and it does! It hits me slightly above my ankle and I wear a feminine bootie with it. Since it’s still warm where I live in Virginia I’m wearing a short sleeve black turtleneck top made of a light jersey, and I belt the waist but leave the top out over the skirt waist area. I feel this outfit is very stylish yet not too formal. I feel comfortable in the skirt and love that it’s lined. It’s a very good value too. I’d consider wearing a lighter colored top in spring or keep the black top but add a neutral sand/stone colored short jacket. It’s a very versatile piece. And this winter I’ll wear it with a short black sweater with texture.
