Floral Embroidered Sleeveless Maxi Dress

I am an elementary music teacher and I bought this to wear for end of the year performances. I plan to wear a cropped shrug over the shoulders. It's so nice to find a casual full length lined maxi dress. However, the straps are not adjustable so I will have them shortened an inch or two. Because I am larger (size 16/42C), it would have been helpful to tighten the straps to my up top needs. The dress is almost a perfect fit -the top is just a little bigger on me.

This dress is so pretty, and a great length for someone on the taller side like me. Unfortunately I need to return it due to the super strange feel of the embroidery. It but somehow it feels greasy? It felt unclean wearing it right out of the package, and it's all over the dress so there's no escape. If you're sensitive sensory-wise I would not recommend this dress
