Floral Chiffon Maxi Dress

This is a super pretty maxi dress! I am 5’3” and 130lbs and I tried a couple of sizes. Ended up keeping the size 2 as the top of the dress runs a tad big (under arms). The waist is elastic. I normally wear a size small so this does run a bit big. The colors are so wonderful. I am going to wear it to a beach wedding in the Keys so it will be perfect!

I am 5’7” and weigh 143 pounds. More importantly are my measurements. I always consult designer’s measurements when ordering sizes, as I find that to be the most accurate way to order clothes. I have a large bust and small waist and always have to make sure the bust fits. I first ordered a size 14 since I measured a 39 bust. I was SWIMMING in it! Ideally, I think based on the stretchy waist and blousy top, the 8 would have been perfect. I also had ordered a size 4 since that’s all that was left. It was a tad too tight. Sizing is just weird. I order another dress of Julie Jordan’s in size 8. I’m just learning that ordering clothes online often means ordering and returning several sizes. Sigh.
