Such weird fabric—very thick foam-like

The fit and color are fantastic. The fabric is so weird. The fabric is so heavy and thick that I honestly wondered what blanket I had ordered when I opened the box. It has a spongey, foamy feel to it. You can literally squish the fabric between your fingers. The dress is heavier than a wool winter coat. But it is pretty!

pretty, but not right for me

This is a beautiful dress that fits true to size. I’m 5’7, 130 lbs, ordered size 6. The material is heavier, reminds me of scuba. The belt is too big for me and it stinks! I think the dress is going back. In person, it feels a little too dressy for the office and seems more appropriate for a wedding.

Dancing or scuba diving, not sure?

The internal conflict over this dress is stressful. The color, design, and style are beautiful. The small pleats at the belt line give this dress a flattering look. I love the neckline and the shoulder edge hits just right, hiding the underarm bulge. BUT the fabric! It is so dense, heavy, rubbery, and squishy. It is literally like wearing a scuba diving suit. I also wish it had pockets. I went back and forth on returning it. In the end I kept it. But I have not even worn it yet as I can’t get past the feel and weight of the material. What a waste.
