Comfortable and functional
I bought this slipper as a supplement to my traditional bedtime slippers. I do work around the house and the yard in them because they are so comfortable. Having a sturdy rubber sole and an orthotic insert make them all the more secure. While I haven't left the confines of the house in them, I wouldn't hesitate to do so if I had to. I originally ordered a size 5 and it was too small. My heel stuck out. I then ordered a 5.5 -6, and while a bit loose, it works. I welcome the return of well made Italian shoes such as this one.

Ok slipper
I wear a size 8 and ordered the 8 1/2 in case they ran small. Boy am I glad I did!! The 8 1/2 fits barely!! Not too small, but just fits with no room left over. Definitely size up at least a half size if you are going to buy these. The width is ok, I am saving them for fall now its summer and hot. I think they will be a fine slipper for me.

Lovely but smelly.
Beautiful, well made wool slipper. True to size. This is not a fluffy bathroom slipper. It's a house shoe, which is exactly what I wanted for wearing in my 'no shoes' house. However, they arrived with an overpowering deodorizer smell, (like Fabreeze), that still hasn't faded after airing them out for 2 weeks. I will be exchanging them for another pair and see if the next pair also smell.

Too wide, but warm & comfortable
The shoes fit perfectly in length, but very big in width. My feet don’t have a lot of meat and they are swimming inside my shoes.
Too bad they don’t make narrow as a choice. I am wearing thick socks and the shoes are still very big. I am thinking of returning the shoes. It’s a shame because they are warm and non- slippery so if they are not as wide they would be perfect.
