What it is: A floral eau de parfum.

Fragrance story: In ancient Greece, one myth stood out as the most passionate and sensual—the love between Psyche and Eros, the beauty’s quest to meet with her lover and the happy outcome of their union which led to the birth of their daughter, Hedone. Only one scent can convey this legend as a fragrance, that of musks. Equally legendary, they have the unique ability to enhance the skin with their arousing carnal accents. They are at the very heart of Fleur de Peau, as cottony and light as they are soft and moist. Highlighted with elegantly powdery iris and fruity, ambery ambrette seeds, they reveal their full tactile dimension. Absolute ambrette seed extract comes from hibiscus flowers. Its notes are extraordinarily rich: sweet, slightly animal and fruity, like pear and plum.

My favorite scent
Fleur de Peau is a scent that made me like wearing perfume again. It’s been a couple of years since I sampled it then bought the full size bottle. I love the fresh and clean scent, not too strong for my sensitive nose. It’s works well with my body’s natural smell and I don’t need to put on a lot to enjoy it. I’ve received compliments from other people, even stopped by strangers on the sidewalk who then asked about my perfume. Thank you Diptyque for this wonderful scent. I hope that you will never stop making it.

Doesn't last
So disappointed, has absolutely no staying power. Intriguing, lovely scent that fades in less than an hour. I was told by the rep at a beauty event that it should last at least 8 hours, this is not worth your investment. Will stick with Dyptique candles, but forget the fragrances.

Last all day!
Did not like it when first sprayed on but as the scent soften out after a few hours, it smells comforting. It's soft, earthy, powdery, and slightly sweet.

Absolutely amazing
This perfume has become my go-to, I honestly wear it every single day and always get a compliment because of it. It’s just such a universally beautiful scent. It’s floral, but also has a sweet tone to it that I really like, and is quite easy to layer with other perfumes. Definitely recommend to buy or to get for a gift!
