The Perfect Backpack
After my favorite backpack of 15 years finally wore out, I spent the best part of 3 hours searching for a replacement. Nothing besides this one seemed to fit the bill. The inside is spacious and not hampered by excessive pockets nor dividers, it's super lightweight, the shoulder straps are narrow for smaller folks like me, and the chest clip sits high up on the chest making it female friendly. I have a good feeling this one will last me the next 15 years :)

Nice bag, not good or bad at anything
TLDR: Bag is tough, but narrow. Good for daily carrying but not for anything that requires more gear.
I've had this bag for about a year and got it for school and some outdoor activities. I will say that this is a good basic bag that does the job. However, there are a few things that I've noticed. First, the bag is quite narrow, meaning there isn't a lot of room for the bag to expands outwards without it bulging. Putting in jackets or any other bulky objects (food containers, etc.) quickly stuffs the pack. For context, the most I'm carrying in this bag for outdoor travel are snacks, a sunhat, chalk bag, and jacket, and that fills it out. I hook my climbing shoes on the little bands on the outside of the bag because there's no way they'll fit inside. For school, if you're just carrying a laptop/iPad with a few books it's nice and light. But if you try to fit a jacket in there it immediately becomes bulky. The smaller compartment has some options for organization, which is nice. That compartment in particular is VERY narrow (basically no outward space) so slim items will fit best. Within this narrow compartment is a smaller zip-space. The problem with this is that it pushes into the space of the main compartment so when you're trying to put stuff in, that pouch gets in the way or takes up too much room. The small zipper compartment on the very top of the backpack is great for smaller things (chapstick, bandaids, etc.) but it's not made for big keys or a passport/phone. I wish it was either bigger so I could fit larger things in it or repositioned better; it's extremely difficult to access that compartment without taking the entire bag off.
I want to reiterate that I do like this bag. It's tough, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. However, if you're planning on carrying anything more than a laptop/books/very very light jacket, look for something larger. This is not a bag made for longer outdoor adventures. This is a city bag.

Very happy with this bag
I've been using this bag for about 2 months now and I'm very happy with it! I purchased to replace my original size Kanken and the extra pockets and functionality of this bag has been a game changer, particularly the pockets on either side which are actually a decent size and can fit my 1L nalgene. This is my everyday bag for university and is perfect for carrying a laptop, my lunch, and a few other bits.

Uneven stitching on front base of bag
I was very excited for this bag to arrive, and it's perfect except for one thing: the stitching on the front base is very uneven. Part of the front is sort of puffed out, the other is not, and it makes the front look lopsided. I'm getting a replacement which I hope is correct because I love the bag. I'm a guy, 5'4", and wanted a smaller bag when I just need to carry a book or two and my laptop. Everything is near perfect about it except for the poor stitching which I hope is a single anomaly.

My FAVORITE!
This is my favorite pack in this size class. Perfect for commuting (I take it to work every day) and for travel (took it on a weeklong trip overseas). The 20L size is just right, and organizational features are perfect. It’s also super durable: looks new after extensive use. Absolutely love it.

Best go-to Backpack
Hands-down this is the best and my personal
Favorite daily backpack. I use it for day hikes and also as a diaper bag. It is the most comfortable back pack to wear. I love that I can reach my water bottle while hiking but also love that my water bottle never falls out because of the extra strap above the pocket. I love all the organization inside the back pack. I use the outside center to hold extra clothing layers or even trash that I pick up from trails. I have literally tried many other backpacks but this one is just perfect. My Patagonia bag of similar size has such small water bottle pockets that my water bottle falls out frequently and not much internal organization. My Cotopaxi just doesn’t feel S comfortable and also lacks internal organization. My osprey was cute but also not what I tend to reach for. Over and over I reach for this bag. I purchased the 20L size since I am 5’2 and around 113 lbs.

Works perfectly for every activity and is spacious
I bought this backpack last autumn and i absoutely love it. I use it for absolutely everything and always have enough space. I went skiing, hiking, climbing, to school and work and never had any problems. I also love the style and would buy it again 100%
