Works great for teenage son
This coat has worked great for my 15 year old son. He is 6.1’ and weighs about 150. We got him a medium. He really likes all of the pockets and says it kept him warmer then this Columbia coat in the cold MN winters.

Poor Quality Materials
Bought this jacket for the Bend, Oregon winter. Great design, warm and looked good. The first time I had to zip it, the zipper would not work. Found a lighted doorway, took my gloves off on a snowy 25 degree night and the zipper still didn't work. Finally, after about 10 minutes of wrestling with it, got the zipper to work. Returned it to Nordstrom and, since I liked the jacket, got another one. Same problem - the zipper refuses to work properly. I don't know what the issue is, but Fjallraven doesn't live up to their reputation. I cannot recommend this product.

Zipper broke twice after 10ish wears
(Zipper broke twice) Zipper broke by losing 2 teeth after wearing it 5 times. I sent to Fjallraven to repair, they added two replacement teeth of a chrome finish. Just worse the jacket the second time since the repair and one of the replacement teeth fell off. I have a few jackets and hoodies with full double zips and have not had these issues.
Fenix Outdoor response
Hello Brian
Many thanks for sharing your feedback on this jacket. We are very sorry that the zipper teeth failed again, especially after it got repaired already. That is not the Fjällräven quality we and our users should expect from our gear. We have seen your new request in our ticket system and we have forwarded this to the right department and asked for a speady reply, solution/ Fjällräven customer service

Avoid at all costs -- get Patagonia or Cotopaxi
The zipper is absolutely horrendous. Seems like others have the same issue and it is a manufactures defect. It blows out at the bottom and I sent it in twice thru warranty. They replaced it with an ugly color and it is unwearable.

Strange choices.
They make some poor design choices imo. I think g1000 lite isn't rugged enough not even mosquito repellent and it's less water resistant. And why not have rugged long lasting pocket inners instead of mesh. If I want ventilation I'll just unzip it a bit. if it's raining I don't want water in my pocket. Deal breakers for me.

A Modern Classic That Honours Fjällräven’s Roots
The Skogsö Jacket blends functionality and timeless style for a suitable every day wear. I’ve worn this on hikes and city strolls, as well as bushcraft days in the forrest. It’s proven sleek, breathable, and built to last.
The body is constructed from G-1000 Eco which in my experience is very breathable, somewhat wind resistant, but not rain resistant. The shoulders and hood are G-1000 proper and the cut is athletic making this a versatile 3 season jacket for town and country. The experienced outdoor user will find many purposes for this jacket. I do not recommend wearing it during winter but that depends entirely on what you seek to achieve.
Fjällräven has created a refined, durable essential for those who value craftsmanship and longevity.
Cheers,
Tristan
