Raincoat for my Kanken!
Absolutely perfect - excited to try them out! I travel frequently back & forth from Texas to Florida. I make sure I stop at Disney when I can - I’ve lived in Florida for 25 years. It always rains. No matter how water resistant a Kanken is, it will inevitably get wet during hurricane season. I got this out if curiosity because Fjallraven makes awesome accessories for the Kanken line. This is absolutely adorable & seems to protect the Kanken pretty well. It’s compact ( first photo is of the rain cover & my Coach Minnie ears for size - I’m glad I got this to protect them from the rain when they are in my backpack. ) & the colors are gorgeous. The best thing about this is that there are snaps to lock the raincoat in. One word of caution, if you use the cushioned straps you’ll have to snap them off because the rain cover snaps to secure it in. (The last two photos show the padded shoulder straps that I snapped off).

I the blue color is very pretty in person. I didn’t have a chance to use it yet, it’s very compact I can keep it in my backpack every day .

The rain cover fits well & feels pretty durable, but it's unfortunate that the cover & the shoulder pad attachments use the same button on the straps to secure them. You can only have one or the other secured at a time & the shoulder pads do slide around a bit without securing those top buttons.

Works just fine, disregard other review
Just bought this and installed on my Kanken No 2 15 inch laptop pack and it works just fine, EVEN WITH using the straps, meaning you can wear this as a backpack while still having the rain cover completely installed. Have no idea what that other reviewer was talking about but it works great.

Keeps my Kanken backpacks dry
Works well. Very bright color makes it stand out among the sea of neutrals. Keeps my Kanken 15" laptop bag & my 13" laptop bag dry. Too small for the 17" version. Expensive for what it is though.

Can't be used with shoulder pads
This rain cover fits the kanken perfectly. However, I ran into the issue that you can't attach this to the bag as intended while using the backpack straps since they both lock into the same buttons at the top of the backpack strap. If the rain is temporary, you could probably get away with unclasping the backpack straps since they may not slide around much if you're wearing the bag; but this is not a long term solution. I ran into the same issue with the kanken mini rain cover (on that bag both the rain cover and the backpack straps loop through the black connector piece at the top of the straps).
Cover itself is great, but it would be nice to be able to use with the shoulder straps without having to compromise on the attachment points for either product.
