Great Backpack
I love my Fjallraven. It is very utilitarian, and the Ox Red color is a nice shade. The water bottle holders on the side are a nice addition (something I can go without, honestly), and there's a padded zipper area for your laptop. It will fit a 15'' MacBook Pro without issue. The main compartment is spacious as well, and could easily fit a science textbook with room to spare. I searched between these and the Herschels, and I think this one definitely wins out. Comfortable too.

Looks great but disappointing
I really wanted to like this backpack. The picture and the small video are deceiving. Although it would hold my 15" Mac, I would not feel that the Mac is safe in this backpack. Minimal padding even if you leave the "seat pad" in the pack. Very little storage room. Looks like it will burst through the seams. This may be good for a child - not so much for anyone on high school or older. Definitely not worth the money.

great college backpack for commuters!
The bag is cute and durable. It's a really good backpack for college, especially you commute to campus. It can fit a lot due to the boxy shape and how it opens. The straps are comfortable and it distributes the weight evenly. I love how there are separated the compartments are. I especially love that I can keep my electronics separate from my lunch and my water-bottle! I keep my 13" macbook, ipad and the cases/accessories in the padded section and still have room for more! I can fit most of my textbooks in the middle compartment and keep my personal stuff in the pouch. The side pockets are perfect for carrying an umbrella and a water bottle. However, this bag picks up a lot of lint and looks dusty very easily. I also find that the front pocket could have been better, I personally find it too small and lacks organization. I can only keep my keys, a scientific calculator and a couple of pens. Any more and it's a hassle to find what I'm looking for.

Bag faded after one trip
Love the size and shape of the bag, unfortunately after one trip on the plane my bag became discolored (white streaks/splotches). Very noticeable on the black background which is a shame.

I do not know how they even have almost 4 stars of positive reviews . I think those folks never seen many backpacks / felt in their lives . This backpack is stiff looks cheaply made … there is color fading also even if you touch the backpack / maneuver it .You are better off using a rice bag as a backpack !
