Fitted Blazer

I have several Nordstrom suits, but I was not even able to get this one over my shoulders. I’m typically a size 14 and wear a xl in my other Nordstrom brand suits and I ordered an xxl here.

I’ve been in the market for a well-made, reasonably priced blazer for ages. Thought found it. Arrived today..less than a week after I ordered. Beautifully made. Nice fabric..perfect for between seasons or warm winters. Color was spot on ( we all need a good navy blazer). It fit in shoulders, sleeves were perfect. I couldn’t button it. I am not fat..I am overweight a bit,and wear a 38DD bra…so maybe that’s the issue, but I ordered a L..which according to the size guide was a 12-14. I wear a 12 in everything except jackets, so I thought I was safe ordering this size. An XL (16) would be too large. It’s going back. Looks like I need to return to shopping in person at my local. Nordstrom.

I saw this blazer in store during anniversary sale. Tired on M and Large. The large was way to big and medium fit everywhere but at waist to button - really tight, but there is a bit of stretch- not that I would wear it button at work, but it is tolerable since the color, big pockets, and style really works for me. I bought the matching pants. I am 34-36 DD and 165lbs , 5’3. Also I would have liked if there were some natural fibers.

I like this blazer I wish it wasn’t synthetic and I wish it didn’t have to be dry cleaned, but that being said at the sale price, it is a great wardrobe staple. Unfortunately if you are a large breasted woman, it won’t work. I could button it around my waist easily, but the chest area is slim and as a 34 J cup it just doesn’t cut it.

I was so bummed this did not come in a petite size. It is near impossible to find a blazer that fits a woman’s body correctly and this fit beautifully except for the extra length. (not too small in the chest, arm holes were cut properly). The body and sleeves were too long and the oversized patch pockets were awkward. For reference I’m 5’4” 115lbs, 32D.

Unfortunately this didn’t fit well on me, but the quality and the color were great. Hope it works for you.
